OUR FEATURED PROGRAMS
The Tech Interactive
The Tech Interactive welcomes more than 250,000 visitors each year, including thousands of students from underserved communities, to explore 130,000 square feet of hands-on STEAM experiences. Through interactive exhibits, labs, and design challenges, students engage with real-world topics like climate change, robotics, and healthcare innovation.
Your gift helps make these field trips possible by helping cover transportation, admission, and immersive learning experiences, often giving students their first chance to see themselves as innovators and problem-solvers.
The Tech Challenge
The Tech Challenge is our 39-year signature program that empowers students in Grades 4–12 to solve real-world problems using the engineering design process. Working in teams over several months, students collaborate, test ideas, and document their solutions, building critical thinking, creativity, and confidence along the way.
Your gift expands access to The Tech Challenge by supporting students and educators from underserved communities with materials, coaching, and participation support, helping young people see themselves as engineers and problem-solvers.
The Tech for Global Good
Tech for Global Good is one of The Tech’s most inspiring initiatives, bringing real-world STEAM hero stories to life through short films, engaging curriculum, and interactive exhibits that spotlight innovators solving urgent global challenges. Each year, we honor four Laureates and one Global Humanitarian whose groundbreaking work fuels new educational content and sparks curiosity, classroom conversations, and action among the students, educators, and families we serve.
